" Making a dream come true"
Fanny is a Belgian pole vaulter, born and raised in Germany.
After a gymnastics carreer, she needed some change and decided to try out athletics.
She made her first pole vault steps at the age of 20 and quickly raised to reach the national top-level, becoming Belgian champion only 2 years later. This title was quickly followed by 8 others and by 7 new national records !
In 2013, after graduating as a Doctor (University of Liège), she took bronze at the World University Games in Kazan (RUS) and silver at the Francophone Games in Nice (FRA).
After those international honours and beeing selected 4 times to represent Belgium at the European Team Championships, time has now come to raise the bar to the ultimate level : Rio 2016' Olympics !
With only 10 little centimeteres to ad to my personnal best of 4m40, I'm sure the qualification standards of 4m50 for the Games are within reach !
Working hard every day, I've dedicated the last few years to this crazy sport.
